Official 9/11 15th Anniversary Menorial Thread

At the end of the day no matter what you believe happened I think what needs to be remembered above all else are all the pour souls that died that day. You can call me an emotional delusional faggot all day, but if we all stopped for literally one minute, and focused on the things that are actually important, we could all get along much better. I couldn't be more sure of it.

The first Sunday after the tragedy of 9/11, the New England Patriots were pitted against the New York Jets in New York.

Drew Bledsoe, the starting Quarterback for the Patriots in that game, was injured and back up Tom Brady came off the bench.

We stand but less then 2hrs from the actual time this occurred.. I will post more later on my first hand account of what I experienced and went through along with many of my fellow first responders at the Pentagon.. I want to share however something I wrote on FB earlier tonight.. It took me awhile to write and yes I rambled a bit but its more a reflection of where we stood as a country that day anda shortly there after and then where we are now and how quite frankly it bothers me to no end..
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I write this I think back to where I was and how things were and are now 15 yrs ago we suffered a inexplicably tragic and evil event inflicted upon this country by people who hated our way of life. Nearly 3000 people died from everyday locals in NYC to hundreds of first responders who rushed to help including ironically an EMT from Dumfries Triangle Rescue who had he not been in NYC on business would've likely been part of the efforts at the Pentagon. He rushed four blocks to WTC when the planes hit and he died a hero trying to help others indeed.

In such a short time afterwards we came together as a country. There was no democrat vs Republican , Black vs White Vs Hispanic. We weren't letting petty differences divide us and we stood together as one nation to stand up and say We will not go silently. We will not allow this violent outburst go unnoticed and unanswered. We came together as a country as one.

Now here we stand 15 years later and not only are we not standing together we are so much more divided then we've ever been since the end of segregation and Civil Rights. Things that despite what the Democratic Party claims, were ended due to rock solid GOP support while it was fought against by most Democrats. I'm not making this a political post to blame anybody but the truth is in the 8 years that Obama has been in office we've become more divided and divisive then ever. The lack of tolerance by both sides is actually rather alarming but I would argue the lack of cohesiveness is being driving by a political movement that wants to blame somebody for everybody's problems. The liberals want to blame the rich folks who by far pay more income taxes then anybody else already not to mention that African Americans are being pitted against Police and BLM wants to blame White people. Are there crooked cops sure they exist but they aren't the large majority. One only need look at The Dallas Police Chief and Milwaukee Sheriff as role models as Black public servants trying to keep the peace. The sad truth is there needs to be interspersing across the board. Do we have an issue with illegal immigration. Yes we do but the feasibility of deporting potentially 10-20Million which is a large amount isn't possible. Do I think the issue of illegals who are committing crimes and need to be held accountable absolutely they should be booted immediately out of the country. This of course riles up the haters on the right who want to blame the ills on illegals. Not all of the job issues are due to illegals. Let's be honest folks who wants to go pick fruit in the heat of the California valley summer. Not Many I'm guessing.

I guess what I'm getting it is in 15 yrs we've gone from a country United to one that is breaking apart at the seams due to blame being hurled from both sides of the political spectrum. And honestly it breaks my heart. The very thing we stood for 15 yrs ago which was the intolerance of others towards our way of life is now becoming the very thing of intolerance that is killing us from the inside. It's the arrogance of those on both sides. Is it really the end of the world of homosexuals get married or have a legal union. Ok yes the Bible is against it but do we need to have a bible study about love the sinner hate the sin and how though has not the authority to judge that is reserved for God himself. But at the same time the beliefs of those who are Christians need to be respected as well and it seems sadly to me that we are seeing accommodations being made for anybody's religious roots except for Christians who to me are bordering on being persecuted in this country for their beliefs and moral roots. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.

I hope and pray we don't see another 9/11 incident in my lifetime. Truth is I fear we will and it will make the original look tame. It shouldn't take an overt act of aggression against we the people to bring us together. The answers are out there and we never used to be this hateful to each other as a whole except when it was all about keeping those in power in power. So take the power away from those in power and maybe we will see a change for the good. Term limits are a darn good start just saying.

Ok I'm off my soapbox. I just felt I needed to vent some and get these feelings off my chest. These next couple days are always hard on me. I lost my dad on 9/12/2000 and then 9/11 was just shy of a year later and lives with me to this day. I love my country. I love the people in this country. I do not love what's becoming of it however. Blaming the bogeyman they tell you to blame is easy like being a lemming. It's thinking for yourself they don't like, isn't easy and sometimes leads you to a hard truth. The establishment wants us divided to keep us focused and blaming others when in fact its the very establishment that's pulling the strings and causing the discontent amongst all of us.

    True stories:

A former academic colleague of mine was at a meeting in a skyscraper in Midtown with a clear view of the towers. Everyone in the room was watching the first tower on fire when the second one was struck by the second plane. Immediately, everyone started making plans on what to do. My colleague correctly guessed that the authorities would close the bridges, left ASAP to get back upstate, and got across the GW Bridge a few minutes before it was closed.

A student in of my classes had been working as an intern in downtown Manhattan when the towers were hit. He was working in one of other smaller buildings and for awhile had a clear view of the towers before they collapsed. Including seeing some people jumping to their deaths to avoid the fire and smoke. For some reason, I was the first person he discussed this with the following semester when he came by to discuss an assignment. He wasn't giving an excuse for not doing the assignment. He just wanted some advise, to float an idea by me, and in the course of chatting, he suddenly said he had to say something, to tell someone. How he was wracked with guilt that he had been lucky enough to have survived. I don't remember what I said to him to talk him "off the ledge", but at the end of the semester, just before graduation, he made it a point to stop by to thank me for hearing him out.

    Lastly...

Do you remember where you were when the towers were hit? By sheer coincidence, I was getting a medical exam for my *private pilot's license*. The first one hit while I was being examined, the second while I was driving home. My premature comment in the waiting room of the doctor's office as I was leaving while the television coverage of the first crash was being reported? "Those TV news people are calling it a terrorist attack to just sensationalize it for ratings!" (Oops!)

Going to the Jets vs Cinny game, I'm sure they're going to make a big thing out of it. I'll remember that day like it's yeaterday, was a freshman in high school and I thought I'd lost my dad and uncle. Didn't hear from eother of them till 9pm that night. They had stayed behind to help these 2 old ladies.

My uncle was actually working in the 2nd tower that got hit on one of the lower floors. When the first tower got hit he ran towards my dads office 2 blocks away. He remembers over the speaker the building safety department telling people to stay inside because it was safer... sad fucking day.

I used to work at an electronics store (Tweeter), which was in walking distance to a pretty large Red Cross blood bank. After watching both crashes (on a row of very large televisions), when it was clear we weren't going to need a whole lot of employees right then, me and an installer (Tom) immed went over to give blood. It was probably about half an hour after the 2nd crash when we got there.

There were already hundreds of people in front of us, thousands after us in about an hour. They cut the line and sent a ton of people home, without the resources to handle anywhere near the amount of people who showed up, telling everyone that there was going to be an extended need coming, and to come back in the coming days and weeks.

Me and Tom were outside waiting for our number to be called, just standing around with everyone in the strange silence talking quietly, smoking cigarettes on the grass. We all had cell phones, but there was no real service to speak of anywhere, towers was so overloaded. There was a large lawn in front of the place, and in the middle of the well-kept grass was a flag pole. As we all zombie'd about outside, not sure what to do or say, an employee came out of the Red Cross building, walked over to the flag pole, and lowered the flag to half mast. It's weird, with all the shock of seeing the planes do their thing, where you knew for 100% SURE actual people were dying in real time as we watched (and wondering how many dominoes were still left to fall), this symbolic move was by far the most emotionally crushing thing we experienced that day. I'm just about crying now remembering it.

I was on a flight from Toronto to Calgary that morning. There was no indication that anything was happening until we landed. We sat on the plane about 100 yards from the gate for about 1/2 hour with no communication from the pilot or fight attendants. During this time I turned my cell phone on and I had 24 messages, mostly from my wife who was frantic. I still had no clue what was going on.

Our plane was surrounded by soldiers with weapons out. A set of stairs was brought out to our plane and one by one we were escorted into the terminal. As I walked by the soldiers and airport personnel I was chatting with another passenger. I asked him what he thought was happening and he told me the message on his phone was WWIII had just begun.

Fast forward to Sep 14. I was supposed to be flying back to Toronto on Sep 12. The Calgary airport like most was closed for several days. Wore the same suit for 4 days, bought a few pairs of socks, underwear etc to hold me over. Finally get on a return flight Sep 14 and I'm sitting in a window seat with two Air Canada female flight attendants. They ask me to sit in the aisle seat in case anything bad happens. I of course oblige.

On walks an East Indian man maybe 25 yrs old. Every single person on the plane was staring at this guy. The flight attendant sat next to me is literally trembling. I told her if he so much as sneezes I'm tackling him.

I feel bad for feeling that way, I'm not a racist but I sure as hell was that day. If that poor guy got out of his seat there was 20 guys ready to pounce.

Have been to the 9/11 Memorial Site several times. Unimaginable what it must have been like in Manhattan that day. Thousands of families lives devistated.

One thing that bothers me is how the 9/11 videos are generally suppressed from the public now, because they are "too disturbing" or will get people angry.

This is a mistake, as the passage of time numbs people to the continued threat of terrorism. The US is fortunate that a big ocean separates it and the Muslim terrorist countries, but if a network gets started here (especially of homegrown terrorists), watch out.

The Cosgrove call in the last video is really depressing, and is etched in my memory. Really makes you realize that there were 3,000 human beings killed on that day, including some who weren't killed instantly, yet had to spend time basically knowing their fate.

Cosgrove was 46 and said, "I'm too young to die" during the final few minutes of his life, as it became increasingly clear that he would not be rescued.

Sadly, Cosgrove could have prevented his own death by leaving the north tower after the south one was hit, but he stayed there and continued working, as many did who believed it to be an accident.

Despite being a collapsing tower death, his body was found at the bottom in surprisingly good condition, so he was buried and his wife was able to get his wedding band.

I know there was a lot of controversy regarding the usage of torture to question 9/11 suspects, but I have zero sympathy for anyone who was actually involved in this. I agree that those loosely suspected of 9/11 involvement should not have been tortured, but I think it was very justified to do those known 100% to have involvement in the high levels of planning it, such as Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and Ramsi Binalshibh.

Oddly, some actually feel bad for Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and the routine torture he endured while detained by the US, despite the fact that pretty much everyone accepts he was the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks.

Listen to the Cosgrove call and then tell me that you don't think guys like Khalid Shaikh Mohammed should be tortured for info.

Seth MacFarlane was supposed to be on one of those planes that hit the twin towers.

He had been invited to receive an honorary degree from a college in Rhode Island, and was returning to Los Angeles on 9/11/01 on AA flight 11 that morning.

He only survived because his assistant screwed up, and gave him the wrong time for the flight. He arrived at the airport too late, and they denied him boarding.

Mark Wahlberg was also supposed to be on that flight, but changed his plans at the last minute for unknown reasons.

My parents flew American Airlines from Boston to LA on September 8, 2011.

However, even if the same attacks had been scheduled for September 8, they wouldn't have died because their flights were in the afternoon.

    Still... pretty close.

I was a year outta school and didn't believe it when a co-worker told me that shit happened...

literally every one of my undergrad friends worked in NYC so I tried calling and calling after I got home and tried until I went to bed to no avail...I was fortunate and all the knuckleheads I'm friends with weren't working downtown...

unfortunately I did know a guy from undergrad worked at cantor...met him during freshman orientation, really nice guy...wasn't friends with him, but he dated a girl that my group was friends with...im hoping he went quick and didn't have to think about what was going to happen...22-23, just way too young...RIP man...

One of my first ever posts on this forum and it's as true now as it was back then:

So other than some insurance firms that worked there, they were mostly empty:

Now take another look at the videos in OP, if you watch close enough you can see the digital renderings, just pause it frame-by-frame at the moment of impact and you can see how fake it is.

9/11 was a massive hoax yet most people still can't see the CGI in full effect, and instead cling onto the official narrative.

I noticed somebody mentioned the documentary loose change, my advice is to steer well clear of these types of dis-info. There have been 'shills' at work on this since it happened. They are obviously employed by intelligence insiders who want to 'control' the opposition.

There's a forum where the guys on there have compiled a list of all the simulated victims and the people behind the creations:

    http://cluesforum.info/

We've been sold a lie, it wasn't just WTC 7 that was 'pulled', all three buildings were brought down the same standard way in which all demolitions take place. No reason for anybody to die, that was never part of the plan.

United Flight 93, the one which crashed in Pennsylvania due to a passenger revolt against the terrorists, almost ended up being an aborted part of the plot.

That's because its main pilot, Ziad Jarrah, was coming increasingly close to backing out of the whole thing.

Unlike the rest of the 9/11 terrorists, Jarrah wasn't super-religious (though apparently religious enough to want to do this), and he also had a life outside of the terror plot. For example, he had a serious girlfriend whom he really seemed to love.

He started to get into arguments with Mohammed Atta (the lead terrorist involved in the whole thing, who was also involved in the planning), and Atta was telling al Qaeda leaders back in Afghanistan and Germany that he was afraid Jarrah would back out of the plot. They were considering aborting the Flight 93 portion of the plan as late as July 2001, as Jarrah's dedication to the plot was being questioned. Jarrah was also avoiding phone calls from Mohammed Atta in June and July.

Finally they had Jarrah fly to Germany to meet with Ramsi Binalshibh (who was involved in the high level planning of the whole thing), and Binalshibh convinced Jarrah to go through with it.

They still had the issue of only having 4 terrorists on that plane instead of 5, because the intended 5th hijacker was detained when attempting to enter the US, but they proceeded anyway.

What about the people and the country who financed 9/11?

The Saudi Royal family and the country of Saudi Arabia.

George W. Bush left them off the hook and instead he invaded Iraq.

Despite ‘28 pages’ release, Saudi’s 9/11 involvement still buried
