He finally did the smart thing and returned to the sport where he had real talent.
C'mon Druff. I agree with you on Jordan but Tebow has a better athletic build to succeed at baseball than Jordan who was too lanky. Tebow looked pretty good swinging that bat and he has exceptional power which is why the Mets signed him.

I could see him being a mid season call up by the middle of next season and being a pretty good power hitter. And even if he fails what is the downside in the Mets giving him a shot.
Did you ask President Romney his opinion?

Tim Tebow homered on the first pitch he saw Wednesday in his instructional league debut.
    LOL instructional league.

The guy is 29, the age just before most MLB players start their decline.

GL starting at 29 to get a career going in a sport you haven't been playing prior to that.

    No kidding.

Hits a fastball off an 11th round draft choice in instructional league and goes all ham. An indication Tebow doesn't understand.

It's not really even a game. It's instructional league. There is nothing lower.

The reality is that even the 22 year old pitcher is too old at this point.

I loved the home plate ump sprinting to see the ball because there's only one ump. My God, I played far enough in baseball to have 2 umps.
