God damn your credit is bad. That's like a $35k car.
I've been driving a 2013 Nissan Leaf electric car for 3 years and it's just a great car. I would love to get a Tesla, but those are like $85k. I have always been told not to lease cars, but I made an exception for this one. I knew the resale value would be shit because the Las Vegas heat chews up batteries. In a normal car they're like $100 to replace. In an electric car they're thousands. My range has dropped from about 90 miles to under 60, so I have to give it back soon. I pay $300/month for what was originally a 2 year lease, but I knew they would extend it at the same price because they don't want the car back. I drive about 800 miles a month on about $25 worth of electricity. I do not miss going to gas stations and I do not miss gear changes. It's just smooth and quiet and great. Also, being able to turn on your air conditioning with a phone widget is pretty great in the Vegas summers.
Maybe one of you will know this. Some dickbag backed into my car in a parking lot and put a moderately large dent in the front quarter panel. No creases or paint damage, just pushed the back part in an inch or so. Should I pay to have that fixed at a body shop before I return the car, or just pay the dealership a penalty because they can presumable fix it for much cheaper?
