I'm guessing it's as easy as 'kids are idiots' and do shit like signing up on multiple platforms with the same username, then sharing their RL info along with that username in other places that they feel safe in, like Facebook, etc.
Or some highly technical Trojan injection mumbo jumbo that Tine can whip up while taking his (massive) morning dump.
thoughts:
1] someone phished a customer service login and are just looking up peoples account info through it
2] someone found a poorly configured web app and they are using it to look up peoples account info
3] someone hacked a database and downloaded the contents which include account info etc
its possible that they are just google dorking account info by looking at other social media presence but the type of data hes getting isnt usually that easy to find via social media honestly. not saying its impossible mind you, just seems a lot less likely than the 3 scenarios above, and certainly less likely statistically speaking.
