Was browsing through the images of the 5K Stud WSOP event, and was surprised to see how busted up Cyndy Violette looked.

It certainly looks like her nose is much narrower now than in previous pictures, and her cheekbones and eyes seem different too, none of which seem to have changed for the better.

That is definitely a new nose, and some minor face "work" to go along with it.(notice the more defined cheek bones)
Damn shame, her nose was fine. Lots of women get nose jobs for no apparent reason.

Tough to tell in that picture since she is raising her eyebrows which will elongate your nose. I would say negative on all of the above (maybe a nose job) because I've always found her to be hit or miss when it comes to pictures. I've played with Cyndi in the past and she is very pretty in a wholesome kind of way. Don't forget that she is in her 50's too.

There's so much pressure now to look model-perfect, and with plastic surgery so readily available, the temptation to mess with yourself is very high. Maybe this is something we could talk about on radio. What bothers me the most is when young beautiful girls fuck up their faces with ludicrous "augmentations." Case in point that always comes to mind for the poker world is:

Hmm...you could be right. There's another picture of her from the 5K Stud event where her facial expression is similar to the older picture of her, and it looks like perhaps all that has happened is aging.

I have seen her in person a lot when a tourney is in town. She has a lot of variance in her presentation. Sometimes she is made up and looks bright eyed and looks like a milf, other times she looks like she is stoned and has been awake for 48 hours straight, other times she looks like she just rolled out of bed without makeup and put on a pair of sweats, which you cam pull off when you are 20, but not 50.
Having seen her in person I doubt she has had plastic surgery, unless it was very minor.
Tell me something interesting about Cyndy Violette. When I was a hardcore fan boy you only ever heard her name mentioned as a good female player. I don't think I ever saw her play on TV.

im pleasuring a few 40 somethings atm, and all look great/good under flattering lighting, i just make sure to avoid placing them in environments where lighting is harsh, especially those dreaded downlights/fluorescents

Cyndy is almost 53, so you have to cut her some slack when it comes to the way she looks these days.
I haven't seen her yet this year, but in prior years I thought she looked very good for her age. She was at my final table in 2005 (when she was almost 46) and was still very pretty.
I have a feeling that these were just unflattering pictures of her, but I also wouldn't be surprised if her age finally caught up to her. Happens to everyone.
Not to mention the lighting in poker rooms rarely leads to flattering pictures.
