There are probably a dozen reasons why I psychologically get off on this stuff. To use a poker example in a PFA post: Tzvetkoff was obviously a really bright and ambitious kid who was also creative. He was playing the game so far above the rim you just had to tip your cap in respect. Ultimately, I wish I was that smart and was an original thinker.

Now Assange is plus plus. Hacker who was as much an opportunist (fame etc.) as an idealist. Wicked smaht. He has been a quick study self educating himself concerning world affairs. You gotta love the anti hero component too. He fits the profile of guys I love to follow and root for.
So TPP has all the ingredients I love. Both sides are interesting.
Morally, of course this is shite. Parallel Judicial system for corporations. We saw glimmers of this stuff with WTO and online poker. The WTO assessing a fine against US that was never paid. Furthermore, the unintended consequences of laws are ALWAYS the boogeyman. Always be skeptical of anything but free market. It's just history.
Speaking of parallel. Following the election is like following some parallel universe. None of the nonsense discussed is really relevant. Largely, the President can at best influence the nonsense they espouse. He can not unilaterally affect jobs, the economy etc. The shit talk is only a tell as to their intentions and deal making behind the scenes - like TPP.
Is Trump less apt to be corrupted by money given his wealth? Possesses a bit more of the "I don't give a fuck". He is more motivated by power and fame.
