I agree that they most likely will not do jail time. I am mainly curious to see how this all plays out for them. The funny thing is the Pros that got caught match fixing didn't really lose many viewers on twitch, and if anything more people showed up to ask questions about what happened which equals more $$$$$$$$$$$.

These dumbasses let greed ruin what they had going, similar to UB/AP.

If these idiots just kept their heads down and collected the 8%, this could have gone on for years longer before crashing down.

However, between the match fixing and phony videos where they secretly promote their own site with falsified results, people got angry enough to rebel, and thus we have the current scandal.

I guess it also reminds me of the DFS sites, where again they had a huge cash cow, and they blew it because the industry didn't want to police itself.

I got really pissed off seeing that video of the CSGOLotto owner walking around his house acting outraged. Really made me hate him. I hope, at they very least, he loses all or most of the fortune he acquired from this.

this is a long video, but another streamer was busted for using rigged site and also inflating his subscriber numbers. the twitch account was closed by twitch not too long ago.

this same journalist was the one that outed the IBP team for match fixing too.

I participated in gambling on Pro games (sportbook website). I used www.csgolounge.com which was the best and had a great reputation. You basically would use the steam API to look at your inventory and the site would show you the value of your items you could bet with. Some skins you couldnt bet due to them being to expensive like my knife skin which was like 300ish before the market crashed. There was a limit of $320 per steam account (max bet)($80 limit per item) you could place on one match or series. So after you place your bet the site would send you a steam trade offer for your bet and you accept it, and after you do the bet is made and can only be changed from being placed on one team to the other. If you won you got a steam offer from the site after the match was over to collect your winning.

It's also important to note that you didn't actually bet against the site itself but bet against other players.
