I've been very happy with my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones. You guys should check out the Amazon reviews on them, incredible.
Audio Technica make class leading headphones. But if you're over 30 you probably don't need anything better then average headphones.
Last headset I bought were Kingston. Under $100 and sturdy metal frame with soft velvet like ear pads. Sound awesome as far as I can tell.
I am looking for a pair of new headphones. Only have two requirements. Cheap and durable. They are for use at work only so I don't need a very nice pair.
GRADO
Spend a little or a lot they're excellent. Made in Brooklyn, supposedly
If you are in your 30's or 40's like most of this board, don't waste money trying to be an "audiophile" because your ears aren't good enough to tell the difference. Buy a 20 dollar pair of Monoprice headphones from China. They don't distort at loud volume like other cheap headphones. Expensive headphones are a ripoff. I have worn 1,000 dollar headphones in recording studio and I have used the 200 dollar sennheisers, no difference to me. I go for the cheap ones because my ears and wallet are shot from being a punk rocker as a kid
The answer is.whichever ones make you look gayest
I've got a Karman Hardon.
