It's amazing what a good salary situation that they're in given the talent that they have. They will trade Bogut to Dallas for the space to sign Durant and let Barnes walk. Next year they will have to max Curry, which is no problem, but Thompson is there until the end of the 2018-2019 season at $19 million/year and Green is there until the end of the 2019-2020 season at only $18.5/year. Amazing cap management.

Why would any team want Bogut? guy sux
Yup, now this is going to be a boring season.
Unless Durant has a hard time fitting in there, or if Curry gets injured from a slight breeze blowing outside.
Durant is obviously a great player but the whole if you can't beat them join them mentality annoys me, especially when the OKC Thunder had 3 games to close out the Warriors but couldn't do it.
The state of Oklahoma will hate Durant forever (unless he returns one day) regardless of him doing a lot of charity/donating type stuff off the court within Oklahoma.
Perhaps Durant looks at what LeBron did leaving for Miami but this Thunder team was way closer to winning a championship then those old Cavs teams where Lebron didn't have much talent around him.
Years ago a lot of stuff came out regularly that Westbrook and Durant didn't get along but they made it seem as if they were very close friends in recent years. I never really bought that from all the press conferences I've seen even when they win these two never have seemed close at all but they were able to put shit aside and play the game.
If the Thunder made the finals Durant resigns imo or in the small chance he don't then Durant goes somewhere else besides Golden State.
I wonder what the line will be for Westbrook to be the NBA MVP next season? He might have to put up a triple double every night for that team to be good.
Of course this sets the Warriors up even better for championship(s) then last season. I doubt they win 73 regular season games but who really cares if you don't win it all? As long as the Warriors can be healthy (they weren't in these playoffs) then I doubt anyone can beat them in a 7 game series.
Golden State has check raised and it's your move Cleveland.

If I was in my 20's and was worth a 100 million I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in oklahoma(no offence rum dick)
Love this move by durant. If I'm the Warriors, my pitch to him would be that the cap is getting so big, so either join us to make a super team or someone else will and u will be stuck in OKC with no shot.
And really durant probly thinks playing with westbrook is annoying and he might not be able to win a title with him cuz he does stupid shit
I actually think this move makes them a worse team. The team right now has crazy chemistry; all the pieces fit together. I am not sure why they want to experiment with something new like this. They might figure it out and make it work but I think betting against them early in the season could prove to be a money truck.

They didn't get worse, KD can score down low and the 3 ball. so everyone is gonna get slightly better looks around the perimeter and when the warriors 3 ball goes cold *like it did in the finals* you still have KD who can score from anywhere.
