The PFA Chat room has been a complete mess for a few months now.

The biggest problem was users getting "stuck" in the chat once logged in.

It also had an incorrect timestamp. and it said [undefined] next to everyone's name.

Unfortunately, this is a third-party tool which stopped being supported 6 years ago.

I tried uninstalling the entire thing and reinstalling it, but that was also a disaster. This is because it wasn't made for the newer version of PHP I'm running, so the installer failed (lol).

Finally I fixed the installer manually, and then the integration with vBulletin (this forum software) failed.

Whole thing was a fucking mess.

But I combined the old software installation and a fresh database installation, fixed some settings, and I think everything is working now.
