Tarts in Macau or the return of the ever popular what did I have for lonch today!

This nostalgic scene is no more. Today it is about 1000 degrees in Honkey. It also smells. For those who asked my AIDs is now better.

But anyway this is how it used to be in Macau.

computer programming guys would loose their minds here.

But enough of the non sequiturs.

    This link is safe.

Saw the Rolling Stones in Macau a couple of years ago and he mentioned the egg tarts during the show.

The hookers are everywhere, but the most amusing location IMO is on one side of the Wynn, where across the street there's a kindergarten.

Trying to fathom whether the hookers or a casino next to a kindergarten is the worse of the two? I'd almost say that the school is full of the hookers' kids, who drop them off before 'work'.

Dads kill two birds with one stone here in the highly efficient Orient.

Bye honey don't worry I'll take the kids to school....

The round eyes out there need to learn the fruits of thousands of years of culture. Sure the west invented McDonald's but what about something more meaningful.

Are you serious about that last paragraph? If so you must be a relative noob and are still in the "hey this is awesome" phase. Live in China a while longer, especially if you have a few relationships, and you will come to hate the country and its people and realize why the west is far superior.

Just a jest here. Actually I have lived in Asia for quite some time but Hong Kong is new to me. That phase you mentioned I did go through. It lasted about two weeks. That is no joke.

My only real gripe with HK, other than the heat and humidity, is how everyone walks like they're intentionally trying to get in your way.

If that's your only gripe you haven't been there long enough.

It's strange how many posters there are on PFA who live in HK.

I am always shocked when I hear about people who have been here their entire round eye lives.

Well if you don't start smoking you will never know what you are missing. I guess that explains why some never feel the urge to bug out.
