I also think that ford's new narrative involves the past - i.e., digging up the old, original town where Deloris keeps calling home. The mib said something about going to sandtown or quicksand and then that is where he showed up at the end to grab Deloris. Maybe I'm reaching on this, but I'm ready for the next episode. I, like sonatine, don't see how they are going to give us closure, yet don't see enough substance to keep this same plot line contuining much longer without losing everyone.

If anyone hates Dolores it would seem to be Ford who has her on a neverending murder witness/rape loop. Still no clue if I'm supposed to know why she can heal herself.
I wish they would have done more with the rogue madam being limitless in her world but I guess yeah it's more believable that she'd instantly want to escape. But it's extremely fucking lame to me that she's getting away with so much in like the most heavily surveilled world of all time. Pretty much if they don't say she's being monitored or set up it will be lame and if they do say she is it will still be lame I think.
Also is Bernarnold just finito now? Ford seems to not be above being petty. It seemed quite dramatic but what's stopping him from just going back to normal tomorrow. Obviously he'd be a tough guy to replace and a tough death to explain to the crew since I doubt even one of them knows he's a robot and that would be the third death of a major employee in like a weeks time.

the popular theory is that billy becomes the man in black, based off some experience hes about to have in the final episode. so all the billy narratives are in the past, and the ford-meets-mib sequences are more or less the present.
its already established that billy and his soon to be brother in law are both employed by an org who owns a tremendous amount of equity in the park, both billy and mib are obsessed with delores, so on, so forth.

I guess If MIB hates Dolores like you say that could be his motivation to keep Teddy alive to the point of gutting another valuable man just to drain his blood into Teddy. But yeah I hope they don't turn him evil but the more I think about it there was a long scene when he was picking his hat color, the future brother in law at one point tells him he needs to switch to black hat, and Ed Harris claims he was a good guy and being evil is a test for him.

interesting theory being floated that logan is the man in black, not billy, which could explain the emotional payload behind his pursuit of delores but seems to squander all the emotional depth they've invested in billy so far, which makes it unlikely to me.
i was thinking this morning about the footage they cut from the series during their oh-shit massive retooling this summer. apparently the show was caligula level soft porn before being re-edited into its current form. i specifically remember some scene about two female hosts intertwined pussy to pussy and being used as a table, for example. supposedly that scene had a hilarious ad run for casting. and boy o boy is it on the cutting room floor, which would be doubly insulting to the actors who filmed it, given that i dont even think you get full SAG benefits if you dont have a speaking role. but yeah apparently at one point this was hyper exploitive softcore porn with a side order of backstory, and that kinda explains how awkward it feels sometimes now.
