Disappointingly low amount of nudity, and most of that has been unimpressive white cock.

If I wanted that I can just go to PFA.

I have a feeling this is blowback from #metoo and I do not approve.

im enjoying the ride so far.

there are some shortcuts being taken with the whole 'bring a dead synth back to life by pressing a button' vibe that i find a bit off-putting but in no way does it really impact my ability to enjoy it overall.

i do want to see the other historical model synths show up sooner than later because i felt like that was a huge selling point at the end of season 1.

also i love the concept that the show could literally end with delores being elected president, like they could totally break out of their island and take over the fucking world and that would be entirely within the shows prescribed arc.

so we have taken a hard left turn and now this is basically a horror show i guess?

id have preferred this not be the case.

That was actually one of my favorite episodes so far. It brings us closer to the answer of who/what is actually real if anyone/anything. I'll overlook the umbrella corp creatures this time.

Should I debate the difference between A.I. and a real self aware Android that has some how achieved self-conscious? Nah. Because it doesn't fucking exist.

I am now looking forward to Samurai World.

funny, ive heard a few reviewers say the same thing about how it might be their favorite ep so far.

the James Delos plot was frankly incredible but its also kinda been their trump card since the show started. and again instead of allowing it to take an introspective, nuanced path, they just turn it into more grief porn. season 1 danced with a lot of really incredible, subtle themes and i dont recall a single subtle moment in this entire season. i dont need to see a guy get his arm blown off. i dont need to see someone make a railroad track out of people.

none of that interests me. its not science fiction, its just some saw shit.

regarding samurai land, i admire your optimism.

Samurai land is kind of meh but the fact that Thandie Newton seems like she learned how to speak Japanese is pretty impressive. The ultraviolence is gonna drive you nuts, tine.

The whole Japan subplot is real boring and unnecessary IMO. They probably just didn't have enough material to get through a full season, so this allowed them to fill 2 episodes.

Also, they were probably worried they were promoting "whiteness" a little too much with the Western theme, so they decided they needed to swerve a little for PC reasons.

westworld used to be a must watch for me, now I’m a week or two behind and I really don’t care

I’m kinda over trying to figure the timelines and who is a host and who isn’t

I just want to be entertained, and I feel like I have to watch each episode 4 four fucking times to figure out what’s going on
    Hi Lew!!!

I watch every episode on sunday nite, then put in a good 90 minutes plus a week having people on youtube explain to me what happened, then I watch the episode again before the next week's airs. I probably put in more time, per episode, with this show than any other show I've ever watched. I almost understand most of it, kinda.

Well, if you were already fading good luck getting through the last 2 episodes. They are very slow.

I actually thought this season was running along pretty smoothly until they veered off into the Shogun world and things came screeching to a halt.

im having a lot of trouble with the inconsistency.

thandie can mind-hack samurai but cant mind-hack indians? what the fuck is that exactly.

also the entire samurai land subplot sucked a dick up until it hiccupped mostly because the fight choreography was trash and on about infinite occasions i saw rubber, blunt sword tips being waved around in peoples faces.

She appears to be unable to mind-hack the sentient bots (those off the network, or off script), and people. They are likely one or the other.

After the whole Japan world sojourn the series has really picked up. The last few weeks have been the best it has been IMO, even counting Season 1. Looking forward to season finale next Sunday.

That is a Zap_the_fractions_Girafffe joint not a composition from my own hands. I felt it deserved more recognition.
