45 straight years I've watched the presenting of the Stanley Cup live on TV. My dream is to 1 day be there in the arena when it happens.

Exactly seven years to the day since their last Cup victory, the Penguins hoisted the games greatest prize for the fourth time, beating the San Jose Sharks 3-1 in Game 6 at SAP Center on Sunday night.
The Penguins had 12 different scorers in the final, although Conn Smythe Trophy winner and team captain Sidney Crosby never had a goal.

The Peru v Brazil game was more exciting.
As big of a pens fan I am, I do not support Crosby as MVP. Kessel 100% deserved it.
I was there in 1998 when Detroit finished off my Capitals (The last Cup Final to be a sweep in fact). Sure it sucked we lost, but it was an amazing scene especially when they wheeled Konstantinov onto the ice to hand him the Cup.. The whole arena erupted in cheers despite it being the opposing team.. That to me was special.. Hell we luck sacked into the finals as it was, we had no thoughts we had a chance against the buzzsaw of Detroit other then hoping to win a game maybe.. (What many do not know was the Red Wings got special permission to put Konstantinov's name on the Cup in 1998.. Say what you want about Bettman he did the right thing in that instance). He was injured literally one year prior while out celebrating their 1997 win in the finals with Fetisov and the team masseuse when the limo driver crashed into a tree nearly killing Konstantinov and the Masseuse, Fetisov somehow only suffered minor injuries and did play on the finals team in 1998.
The best part about it is people in the Bay Area can stop pretending that they care.
Seriously, Hockey Guy.
International soccer, being played in the US, during their first round play, had more attention to it than your sport's Championship game.
Hockey is a game to be played not watched on tv. Lacrosse, squash bunch of great sports that don't work on the tube but are god to play. Just too fast or too complicated.
If you've played them you are passionate. The rest will never know.
Fuck the Penguins!
RIP Mr. HOCKEY
I believe the simplest explanation is, there is no God. No one created the universe and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization that there probably is no heaven and no afterlife either. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe and for that, I am extremely grateful.
