Already Gone (missing/murdered, focuses on Midwest esp Michigan)
Casefile is usually good. There was a 4-parter about the east area rapist/original night stalker and a 3-parter about the mass murder at Jonestown. Very detailed, tough to hear at times.

I spend well over 15 hours a week listening to podcasts. Cooking, cleaning, commuting, going for a walk or trying to fall asleep - podcasts make it better. Always looking for a good podcast to add to my list. Here's my current lineup:
Stay Tuned with Preet - Weekly. Amazing podcast hosted by Preet Bahara, former lead prosecutor for Southern District of NY (he is responsible for Black Friday and taking down The Silk Road). Very good at explaining whats going on in the world without much bias. There are two episodes with Bill Browder as a guest that I highly recommend everyone listen to. Currently this is the podcast I look forward to the most.
The NYTimes Daily - 5-6 ~30 min episodes a week. I listen to maybe 30% of the episodes.
Gambling with an Edge - Weekly. Hosted by one of the best video poker players and one of the best BJ/general AP players in the world. I usually skip any episode with a poker related guest. Bob Nersesian and Michael Shackleford are regular guests and make for by far the best episodes. (Michael Shackleford used to host the show back when it was an AM Radio show)
Coding Blocks - ~Weekly 2 hour episodes. Pretty technical, geared towards software developers.
Art of Product - Weekly. Not too technical. Focus on building SAS companies.
React Roundup, Javascript Jabber, Ruby Rogues - All weekly, pretty technical geared towards web developers.
Harmontown - weekly, Dan Harmon (co-creator of Rick and Morty) basically getting drunk and fucking around usually on stage in front of a live audience.
Stuff You Should Know - A few episodes a week (they've been doing it for over 10 years though and often just repost old episodes) Each episode focuses on a single specific topic, I listen to about half of them. Exampls: 'How miranda rights work', 'Disappearance of the Yuba County Five', 'How the Standford Prison Experiment worked', 'How Ponzi Schemes Work'
TwoPlusTwo Pokercast - RIP
Poker Fraud Alert - Druff & Friends - Weekly and crazy long. The host produces the show during the show and doesn't seem to have many friends. I've listened to and enjoyed every episode but have only ever recommended it to a few special people. There are time stamps though!
Also used to listen to adam carolla religiously, but not so much anymore.
Serial and S-City are also great.
Listen to “the fighter and the Kid.”
Everything you listed in one podcast.
Stuff you should know
Stuff you missed in history
Joe Rogan
Dave Ramsey is okay, I hate that everything is doom and gloom listening to him though
Henry Rollins was on Rogan and the Church of what's happening now this week so my morning commute was well taken care of

Rounders discussed on Rewatchables on the Ringer
Serial, season 3 is about 5 episodes in. All about criminal justice system in Cleveland.

If you are interested in sports betting at all I recommend RJ Bells dream podcasT. Whether or not you want to follow the picks being suggested or buy the products he is pimping, it offers a very interesting view into the sports betting world. And it has good entertainment and production value too IMO.
Rogan talks with Alex Honnold. Vimeo has zero ads.
The reason all workers deserve a living wage is because all workers need to be alive. Not very complex.
Dale talks about symptoms and treatments for multiple concussions.
For a guy with between 200 and 400 million Dale has zero attitude. Jr. "I'd come home with a trophy. Hey I won." Sr. "Who wasn't there?" Jr. "He was the weirdest Dude".
If ya hate Rogan, I get it. I try to only point to interesting guests, Joe could speak much less and be better. I like the long form.
The reason all workers deserve a living wage is because all workers need to be alive. Not very complex.
Druff should play a ring game on global while on the air and let's hear his reaction,s and responses to the sodomy that will ensue..
I'm serious!!!
It would be entertaining AND informative..
I thought there were two podcast threads...
As mentioned here the Dollop is the best thing I'd never heard of
It's a history class you won't get growing up.
You great great stories, historical facts that will make you shake your head
and great comedy. Both Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds are hilarious so
every topic is part serious part funny. Yes you can laugh at anything
