Bizarre story out of San Diego.
The Padres brought in the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus to sing the National Anthem for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
The chorus, consisting of 100 gay men, was to sing the National Anthem together, and were brought on the field to do so.
That's when it got weird.
Instead of their live performance, fans heard a recorded National Anthem sung by a woman, while the Gay Men's Chorus sat there bewildered.
Even stranger, nobody stopped it and corrected the issue. They let it fully play out, and then the SD Gay Men's Chorus was escorted off the field.
The Padres made a statement blaming it on a "third party company" (lol)
Here is a video of it. You can "X" out the obnoxious advertisement for some other video.
