You can now embed Facebook videos into your posts here. Here's how:

1) You need to get the URL of the video. The easiest way to do this is to play the video, right click on it, select "Show Video URL", and copy it from the text box that pops up.

2)Cut off the https://facebook.com/ from the URL you just copied, and then put it within [facevid] [/facevid] tags.

If the video is wide and not very tall, use the [facevid3] [/facevid3] tags instead. If it's just a smaller Facebook video, use [facevid2] [/facevid2]. And if it's a Facebook Reel, scroll down to see how to do that (added 2024).

That's it!

Example:

Here's the URL of a Facebook video of winds on Mt. Washington: https://www.facebook.com/MWObs/videos/10153741615389685/

Cut off the https://www.facebook.com/ part, and you have MWObs/videos/10153741615389685/

It's a wide, short-height video, so we will use the facevid3 tag instead of facevid.

So the tag is like this:

[facevid3]MWObs/videos/10153741615389685/[/facevid3]

And it shows up like this:
