Mt. Washington is in New Hampshire, and features some of the highest winds ever recorded in the world.
In 1934, the highest wind ever was recorded at Mt. Washington -- 231 miles per hour.
Here is a video of a man being blown around in less than half of that -- 109 mph.
For those in the western US, the top of the Mammoth Mountain ski area is also home to some of the highest winds at times.
A few years ago, winds of 179 mph were recorded at the top of the gondola on Mammoth Mountain.
