The sad thing is I actually discussed this game with cmoney, considered it, and decided to pass on it because Game 1s can be so unpredictable.
I went 0-2 yesterday so that probably contributed to my being afraid to bet it.
It's fair not to read a ton into this stat but Gregg Popovich is 7-0 in game 1 coming off a sweep. What it does prove is that whatever Popovich has the team doing in the downtime before the next series keeps them from being rusty.
This is the best Spurs team ever imo who fell in the shadows a bit because of the Warriors breaking the NBA record with 73 wins.
OKC gives up way too many points and the Spurs not only score a decent amount (unlike some past Spurs teams) but they are the best defensive team in the NBA.
Spurs did shoot an amazing 69% in the first half which has to cool off but Aldridge and Leonard sure exploited the hell out of the OKC defense.
I made 2 second half bets, both of which were better than the market line.
Over 98 +100
OKC -3.5 -120
The market line was OKC -4.5 -110 and Over 98.5 -110
Right now the over is looking good and the 2H spread marginal.
Been at a party tonight so wasn't watching, what a nice score to look at. Let's bring it home.

Damn, almost took both the over 2H and OKC 2H.
OKC had the ball TWICE down 31 in the final minute and blew it both times.
Then San Antonio made a 3 that they didn't even try very hard to make, and that was that, even though OKC made their final shot.
1-1 for me on this
