I was playing poker tonight when I heard this news and immediately cashed out and left

Del was my buddy. Shed a few tears for him on the drive home

He was an icon. And a classic poster. Not sure what else to say other than I will miss him and this news really sucks

If you read delaware's posts, there was a lot of cleverness hidden within the sometimes-incoherent writing style.'

The "Druff is a perfect player" and "China is top 5" stuff was half parody and half sincere, which is what made it so genius.

He was the grandfatherly figure of this community from near the very beginning, and it really saddens me to think that I'll never read one of those crazy posts or receive one of his calls on radio ever again.

This now makes 3 regular radio listeners who have passed away since July, two of whom I knew fairly well. Definitely not good for our ratings.
