It amazes me people still dismiss Trump. He just vanquished 16 opponents, and his next opponent is incredibly flawed. He can easily win this, its basically a coin flip. I heard from someone "in the know" (yeah i get it, I am just a plumber), that Ohio with Pence is a certain lock now as he will drag the entire western part of the state. This could set off a midwest wave with MI and PA following. The theory is, and its becoming more than a theory now, that white union workers are going to pull the lever for Trump. That has not happened since Reagan.

I know a lifelong Democrat who is voting for Trump. He owns his own AC company and the Carrier move just blew his fucking mind. This is not a fluke. And remember MI went to Sanders even though Clinton had a 20 point lead day of primary. Also keep in mind Brexit. That was 65-35 against leaving day of the vote.

I am seriously considering putting quite a bit on Trump on predictit.org (if that is a site you can bet, I have not yet researched). I'll see how the speech goes first however tonight.

Bee showed footage of people booing Pence being while he threw out the first pitch at an Indiana baseball game, along with negative headlines criticizing him as being out of his league.

“Who is Mike Pence?” Bee asked during the segment. “If you’re a lady Hoosier, you may recognize him as the governor who inspected your reproductive organs every 30 days to make sure you weren’t using them in ways that would make Jesus sad.”

Bee pointed out that Pence signed a law requiring funerals for fetuses after an abortion or miscarriage.

“The law was blocked by a federal judge, but not before Pence had closed down every abortion clinic not equipped with a full complement of funeral bagpipers, you know, for the woman’s safety,” she said. “In that state, having a miscarriage could land you in jail for 20 years, so if you’re driving through Indiana and the contractions start, cross your legs and don’t stop till you’re in Chicago!”

Bee did see a positive in Pence being picked as the presumptive GOP presidential nominee’s Veep.

“Congratulations Indiana! You just got rid of one of the worst governors you’ve ever had,” she said, while offering condolences to the Garden State.

However, those clinics have been closed since 2011 after funding cuts to the state’s public health.

Support from the Koch brothers and conservative donors are a major component in a presidential run, so having the major money people’s favorite guy at your side if you’re new to politics is certainly helpful for campaign cash. Americans for Prosperity has been holding up Mike Pence’s work in Indiana as a paragon of a good governor. Pence’s former chief of staff now runs the Koch’s political group Freedom Partners. Given the fact that the Koch’s have pledged to spend $1 billion in the 2016 election to support conservative candidates, his ties could be an asset to Trump as he realizes his own financial limitations.
