The U.S. should stay in the Paris accord, but I'm not upset that Trump pulled out. The overall direction of the world isn't going to change. If the US abdicates its leadership position, others will step in to fill the void. Trump wants to gut all US science funding, not just climate science. Over time, the U.S. will no longer be # 1 in innovation, and the benefits will accrue to the EU, China, Canada, Korea, etc.

What an awful bastard that gross sexual predator is. Literally one of the worst sub-human cunts on this earth.

I mean the twat is talking about the Paris Accord only decreasing temperatures by only 2/10ths of a degree over the next 100 years... Well yeah, that's instead of huge temperature rises which will put cities under water and create crazy amounts of war and famine. The planet will be on its arse.

If god was real, a mile wide asteroid would land on America tomorrow. Because god would unleash all of his fury upon your rotten land for the contempt we've just witnessed here today.

A putrid scumbag calling the shots for a once great nation.

Shame on America, the world will not forget this.

You can bitch all you want. The Paris Climate Deal is dead and Trump destroyed it. Elections have consequences. The good thing for the Republicans is the far left is now going to go nuts and its all but certain they will nominate a far left climate loon in 2020, which will basically seal a Trump reelection. There is no way the Dems will rally behind a moderate lunch pail carrying working class Democrat at this point, which would be Trump's only real threat. Basically its going to be Elizabeth Warren or that Booker guy from New Jersey.

The only ray of sunshine to come from that abortion was when he said.... "We don't want other countries laughing at us any more. And they won't be". Says "I represent Pittsburgh not Paris"

One of the reasons we run things in the world, is we don't spend half our time doting on some fake king and queen.

I hear Biden filed papers for a PAC last week, which is interesting because if there is one thing he is capable of, its grounding any dialog in pragmatic, real world political concerns. Which is to say, a moderate Dem could benefit from Biden putting motherfuckers on blast for hippie bullshit politics.

But it's impossible to be sure what the DNC agenda is, even in broad strokes, and a lot of that of course is because Obama's neo-PAC operated with near total independence of the DNC but cast a shadow ten times the DNC's size in terms of influence and outreach.

I'd be not at all shocked to see a moderate Republican cross the aisle and run under a straight forward Democrat centrist agenda and rock like 75% of the votes in November 2020.

the 2020 election will be crazier than 2016. Hillary, Biden, Warren, Booker, Franken, etc, etc. will all run and take turns being the front runner before being STOMPED

Under the present environment (and that is all we have to go on, we do not have a crystal ball), a moderate Democrat would never happen and a Republican getting a Dem nomination? Are you serious?

The Dems are moving deep into the fringes. It's basically a coastal party made up of the poor, wealthy, elites and Hollywood. Case in point, the House Democratic leader lives in San Francisco and the Democratic Senate leader lives in Manhattan. A lot of people despise Paul Ryan but he lives in Wisconsin. And McConnell represents Kentucky. See a trend here?

The Dems main message is Climate Change, Black Lives Matter, TransGender Equality and Anti Trump. When they fail to make any measurable gains in 2018, maybe they will realize they need to reset their thinking.

It's so absurd to allow a foreign nation to legally bribe our politicians and fund pretty much all our elections.

Not including the $5 trillion for wars.

They also won the majority of the votes in the general election under an elderly white woman who could barely stand up straight. So I'm not sure about your analysis.

Might want to look up the Electoral College process. California could go 90% Democratic and it will not mean shit in the rustbelt.

Again your assertion is that the left is a 'fringe' agenda, and if we look at it from the perspective of the EC I get why you might think that, but generally speaking the word fringe would best be reserved for a group of people who dont constitute the majority of voters.

I mean if you want to get cute and make a bullshit partisan point here, I'll back off, but if we are using our adult words, I'm sure I dont even need to explain that to you.

You dismiss the Electoral College as some aberration. It brought George W Bush to power and Donald Trump. That is a pretty huge sample size given its 2 out of the last 3 elections.

The whole notion that Clinton got more votes is such a non starter, simply because California hates Trump and it was so one sided. As you know, the election was decided in 2016 by the rustbelt. If the economy is strong in 2020 (big if, we are poised for a recession after 10 years) and the left nominates a Elizabeth Warren type, it will be the same outcome as 2016. In fact, under that scenario Trump will likely add Minnesota.

Until the left understands how the Electoral College works, they will keep doubling down in states they already were going to win anyway. Or maybe they are so stupid they will spend all their time trying to flip Texas.
