Story is pretty big over here. Our Foreign Secretary was livid that his name was released via the NYT and made her views known to her American counterpart. (that was around 18 hours ago)
Then, without warning, the NYT in last few hours published photographs from the actual crime scene. Pretty much telling the terrorists that we know everything about the type of bomb used, as everything wasn't destroyed.
We only tell the Americans our shit because they're supposed to be our closest allies and the highly classified evidence may be of use to them also... Now the government is raging, and understandably so. Those crime scene pics would never make the light of day unless they needed to be shown as evidence in court.
It's a pretty big betrayal of trust.
Question is though. Who leaked it, and why?
My guess would be. It was done either by Trumps team to further damage your own intelligence agencies 'leak' reputation.
Or vice versa in order to further damage Trump.
However you look at it though. Britain has been used as a pawn while their still scraping dead kids up off the floor.
And no matter how this is spun in the media over the next day or so.. This will not be forgotten easily.

A lot of high ranking right wing / republican American cabinet members are of the opinion that anything that can possibly be done to erode Trump's chokehold on democracy is worth the transient damage done to our partnerships.

“Ben Walked into a room where a local tv crew was set up for an interview with Gianforte,” she said. “All of a sudden I heard a giant crash and saw Ben’s feet fly in the air as he hit the floor.”
