you're waaaaay off base if you think the average liberal would rather have trump over pence. some liberals had hopes that trump would govern as a moderate since he's not really a republican, but that idea has completely evaporated.

aside from legitimately appearing mentally ill, how exactly is a trump presidency different from the average republican?

only 100 or so days in, but so far he's governed as far right as you can get. (e.g., more military spending, climate stance, supreme court pick, cabinet picks, health care, tax plan, syria missile strike, admin regs, etc.)

what is it that anyone can point to that is in trump's agenda that would be better for liberals than pence? can anyone point to anything?

their policy positions appear to be the exact same, except if pence was president, we wouldn't have batshit crazy tweets like this:
