Fascinating article. I think most Western countries are deeply divided from within. Keeping the lid on all these boiling pots has been largely successful until now.


With the upcoming elections in Germany, and especially France. We could well see unprecedented levels of civil unrest across both sides of the pond. Which we're only used to witnessing in the likes of Africa.

Well the Brits bought the whole Muslim invasion thing enough to vote for brexit. So there's that.

Bout 5% Muslims in EU. Largest concentrations in places like Berlin/Paris and even there they are like 10-15% of population. I live in a country with 50k Muslims, less than 1%. Not much of culture crisis with any of those numbers. I think you might have more Asians and Latinos as a share of population.

I wouldn't be too worried about food stands (taco or kebab) or minority kids loitering in the streets. It's not really a sign of anything since it's been going on for decades.

Muslims in my city for example generally just mix with each other. But they all work hard, they're friendly, offer FAR lower crime rate than us natives (like tiny). And they've never brought jihad in the 50 odd years they've been here.

Yea that's obv an issue with most European countries with tons of immigrants (Germany, France and Sweden mostly). They all started huge immigration programs in the 60's and 70's to fix their labor shortage issues. And none of them have really solid solutions to what to do with the people after their services are no longer needed.

Job markets don't really have need for the type of work their grandparents did. Segregation has done it's magic and umpth generation immigrants are at reasonable disadvantage regarding education, wealth, racism ect. Mostly type of stuff that only time evens out a bit.
