Ahhh don't bitch out on me. You hold vital information to this discussion. Namely what makes you think that Clintons emails were leaked.

Is it because...

A: You're confusing DNC leaks with the Clinton email scandal

B: The fact that Wikileaks published them and that makes you think there was some kinda leak involved

C: You're under the impression that fulfilling a Freedom of Information Act request is something that qualifies as a leak

D: You're using your very own special definition for the word leak

E: Some combination of the above

...really only you know the answer to this. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated in this specific issue since it is by far the most interesting thing in this discussion.

Yes, the definition of the word leak here was left a little bit dubious by me, I'll give you that.

However, while you are right (on a technicality) that the emails on Wikileaks were FOIA requested by Congress, you are forgetting how Congress became aware of the private server to begin with. The FBI.

And how did the FBI become aware of it? Marcel Lazar. A fucking mercenary who they had been chasing for previous hacks.

The truth is that Lazar was upfront with the FBI that he was able to gain access to the Clinton servers and he was the person who ultimately left the breadcrumbs that led to the FOIA request, that led to the exposure of the emails - except for the ones that they were able to frantically delete, like thieves in the night, without any discretion and an obvious intent to deceive/distort the content of the emails.

At this point, I consider this a leak, because this whole thing was the result of hacking. And, frankly, without Wikileaks, who was going to sieve through these emails and distill it down to some of the more obvious corrupt elements, that somehow didn't manage to hit the shredder.

I am not even sure what kind of point you are even making at this point. You really have to be fucking with me if you are going to say that you feel the Pence email issue and the Clinton server issue are at all in the same ballpark. I think anyone on this forum that knows about technology and law, much less common sense, could confirm this to be the case. I am not a Trump or Pence supporter, I am basing this off of objective truth, where I am sensing your politics are fogging your way through this debate.

In fact, there are many security experts that Clinton's carelessness with using here cell phone overseas may have been a source of exposure, completely independent of the Guccifer hacks.

There isn't any proof that Guccifer ever hacked Clintons email server. It would be very atypical of him to not release any emails he supposedly got out of the hack. Only thing that exist is his claim without a shred of evidence and if he had done what he claimed he could have very easily proven it.

He did hack Sydney Blumenthal and he got his hands on emails Blumenthal sent to Clinton. He leaked Sydney Blumenthal emails. No one leaked Hillary Clintons emails. That would be the objective truth.

I don't think Pence and Hillary are in the same ballpark regarding their emails. The way they handled their shit served the same purpose. I don't really care about guessing their motives in either case. The end result of their actions was the same. In that it hindered record keeping and generally hid stuff from the public. It was/is a bi-partisan practice, but only one party seems to think people should be locked up for it while at the same time fully embracing the practice themselves. That's the part i don't like.

Oh yea and the Hillary emails on Wikileaks had nothing to do with congress. They were all from an FOAI request made by Jason Leopold of Vice News. That and few other parts you mentioned are not exactly true but close enough.
