If the economy takes a shit, and it probably will, abortion will fall off the planet. I do admit however the Supreme Court did Republicans no favors. Personally, I am pro choice, most abortions happen in single female households where their kids turn out to be felons. I encourage abortions. My takeaway from yesterday here in Ohio is basically any Dem other than Joe Biden would beat the shit out of Trump, but any GOP candidate including Trump would beat the shit out of Biden. It’s a whole lot easier to dump Biden for Dems than dumping Trump, as he’s easily the most popular figure on the right. I’m shocked Dems haven’t ditched Biden. I don’t think they will either, it’s probably too late.



The turnout in Ohio was way more left than normal. Like 34% Dem versus 20% last time. Basically equal amount of Dems and GOP.

On a day where they got a turnout that protected abortion, made recreational marijuana legal, Biden is still like 20% underwater on his job approval. That’s among a far more Dem turnout than you’d traditionally get.

The SC gave the Dems an absolute gift with ruling, yet Biden would absolutely lose to Trump if the election were held tomorrow, so continuing on with him is suicidal.

Ohio is solidly red now, but a self-identified liberal in Columbus or Cleveland isn’t that different from the rest of the rust belt. They don’t love Biden, forget about independents. If you look at the exit polling, you’d think you were looking at exit data from some blue state, yet Biden is still so unpopular even with a favorable turnout. He’s going to lose PA, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. Those states are bluer, but not so much to make up for how unpopular Biden is.
