If you want to know my theory, my theory is that Conservatives legitimately believe that strict pro-life positions are more socially popular than they actually are...and that poll, after poll, after poll, after poll...consists only of lying, mainstream media, socialist propaganda.

If you don't believe me, then just ask some of them. Of course, not all of them even look at the polling, and are, therefore, ignorant.

Basically, you have unintentionally ignorant people who don't care to look at the polling, but instead believe that their own declarations make something incontrovertibly true (like the supposed election fraud), then you have the willfully ignorant people who simply declare that everything any source of major media says is a lie.

Except Fox News, until just recently, but now they probably think it lies too.

Of course, they all lie, but if I have to trust something...it's polling and results that would correlate with that polling.

For Dan Druff's part, I don't think he is willfully ignorant or ignorant at all. I think that he thought inflation would hurt Biden pretty seriously and that Roe wouldn't be sufficient to generate turnout.

And, believe it or not, I agree with the overturn of Roe from a purely Constitutional standpoint. Tenth Amendment. Individual states, preferably by direct vote of the people, should decide their own abortion policies. If you live in a state in which it is illegal and you don't like it, then move.
