George W Bush only joined the guard to avoid the draft and is a fraud, not a veteran. There was also Washington, Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt, Lincoln, Truman, Eisenhower, and Kennedy to name a few who accomplished many good things as president. Did you think by disparaging veterans and saying 'no offense' that it was somehow less offensive?

Except to say the 9/11 kids were very moved and responded to Cheney and Bush. Their patriotism was admirable and I respect that quality - although it was misplaced.

I have to give them that. I do not stereotype those that served. I do however detest how we as a country treat them. It’s all lip service and bullshit.

So you knew a few people in the 90's who joined the service you didn't like. Ok, but the country has mostly been in a state of war since 1990 so those people volunteered to serve during extremely dangerous times and spent in some cases years away from their families. You have immense respect for those who fought in WW2 but not in other wars? I don't think you knew enough veterans to make the statements you've made.

Trump’s political action committee, Save America, has spent more than $40 million on legal fees since the start of 2023, a source familiar with the matter told CNN. The PAC also shelled out $16 million-plus on legal costs the previous year

As time went on, Trump began raising funds for his 2024 campaign. However, he later began diverting a larger percentage of every dollar he raised online away from his election campaign coffers and into the PAC, which is being used to pay for lawyers for him and other people, according to the Times.

As a result, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — who also is vying for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination — recently slammed Trump’s funneling of money that donors gave to his campaign to pay his personal legal fees as “disgraceful.”

“He’s going to middle-class men and women in this country, and they’re donating $15, $25, $50, $100 because they believe in Donald Trump and they want him to be president again,” Christie said. “They’re not giving that money so he can pay his personal legal fees.”
