Garland owes his career to Gorellick, she brought him into the DC fold. When Garland was going to be nominated for SCOTUS, Gorellick was the first person he called. Well back in 2017 Ivanka and Jared needed a lawyer to handle ethics concerns about having top secret security clearance and an office in the west wing.

"Donald Trump will be indicted in the classified documents matter," a national security lawyer said.
The affidavit also throws a wrench into Trump's claim of innocence because "it was all declassified."

It's OVER.(1) Trump was in unauthorized possession of national defense information, namely properly marked classified documents.
(2) He was put on notice by the U.S. Government that he was not permitted to retain those documents at Mar-a-Lago.
(3) He continued to maintain possession of the documents (and allegedly undertook efforts to conceal them in different places throughout the property) up until the FBI finally executed a search warrant earlier this month.
