also from a legal perspective, the killing of soleimani is morphing into a straight forward assassination. there were no warnings to embassies, no travel advisories for americans, no briefing congress. both of these would happen automatically if there was a credible imminent threat. and trump himself is saying they were trying to get soleimani for a while and he was under direct pressure from gop hawks for some time to do so, totally contradicting everything he and pompeo trotted out to justify this after the fact.
it would be very unlike iran to simply get over this and move on.

not even going to go out on a limb and say these jihads made sure no americans were on that plane just to make sure there wouldn't be future repercussions. that plane stood on the runway for an hour before allowed to takeoff as well. do you think canada or any of the other countries that were represented on that plane are going to do shit to iran....unlikely

He literally failed at the casino business so profoundly that there was no choice but for the banks to bail him out. If he had been just a moderate failure he would have been fucked.
