trump just put a price tag on the entire country of iraq by insisting on sanctions should they kick us out. meaning iraq will have absolutely no choice but to look to russia for oil sales / financial relief.

Wait, isn't Russia replete with oil/reserves and all of the other combustible natural resources? They don't need more oil. This makes no sense.

The fact that Soleimani has been killing Americans for years, just attacked a US Embassy and was planning more attacks just doesn’t make any sense..... First off, its Fox "news" that has been telling us for the last 3 years they are a bunch of liars and Russia didn't tip the scales for Trump.

Despite that, (due to Trump's 15k lies) we do still trust intelligence.
What we don't trust is anyone in the Trump admin.
& they are the only ones telling us this, we haven't heard anything from intelligence.

I work with an Iraqi immigrant that finally got out 6-8 years ago. She Worked for a contractor in the green zone etc etc. she has endless crazy fuckin stories. Anyway, she said the people of Iraq fuckin hated Saddam more than anything but the country is far worst off now and the people would take Saddam back in a heartbeat. Her relatives have been protesting and sleeping in the streets for months. Also of note, she said when Trump bombed Soleimani that her family and the other protesters cheered in the streets holding up pictures of Trump. She said Soleimani was working closely with Iraq’s new corrupt government. Anyway, interesting to hear her perspective.
