It's really odd how little this thread has grown since yesterday afternoon. I wonder what happened?

im not sure what you think 'we' expected.

absolutely no one thought mueller was going to kick in the doors of the oval office and frog march trump out in handcuffs. we hoped, because very few things trump has ever pursued have not been, at their core, criminal enterprises. but mostly the investigation has been a way to feed data to the southern district of new york. a court case i expect trump to beat as well through a series of no contest pleas and staggering fines.

the dots connected by mueller dont automatically un-connect because he did not find cause to press charges for treason, espionage, whatever.

the bar for those charges are high and a lot of the parties involved have spent decades learning to avoid leaving a prosecutable forensic trail.

if being a mentally ill subnormal was prosecutable, im confident trump would be prosecuted.

and it would be a hollow victory dance in this thread because most of his fans would be locked up with him.

Well it is objectively true that part of the reason Clinton lost was because Comey is a grandstanding dork and Russia interfered on behalf of Trump. And it's also objectively true that the main reason Clinton lost is because she stupidly took Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for granted.
