Edit: Think I figured it out. Basically a state is green if they voted for the witch and it’s red if they voted for #MAGATrump #USAUSAUSA. The darker the color the more people are struggling because of the shut down. The lighter the color, the fewer people are effected.
The funny part is that since most states voted for Trump, most states are red (obviously). So sonatard’s trynna make it look like #MAGATrump states are getting hit harder. It’s really just showing that more states voted for Trump. Oh and Montana, New Illegal Immigrant, and New York(?) are getting hit harder than the rest of the states. Most states are just chillin’.
The reality is, unless you’re like < 25 and you’re struggling because of a govt shutdown (WHICH IS A GOOD FUCKING THING), then you’re probably retarded.

The dark states "red and green" in the Western US have very low populations and large national parks. So per capita they are being affected more because all the park employees are not working. Washington DC (and the states surrounding it) is the obvious exception, and I hope we can all figure out why that area would be particularly highly hit by a partial federal govt shutdown.
Other than that, that map really doesn't say anything about America or how the shutdown is affecting people.
Last time I checked attempted immigration (legal and illegal) into the US is at record levels. So it appears the majority of the rest of the world disagrees with your assessment.
