Who's more nuts...Kayne West or Donald Trump?
The top 1 percent pay a greater share of individual income taxes (37.3 percent) than the bottom 90 percent combined (30.5 percent).
The top 50 percent of all taxpayers pay 97 percent of total individual income taxes.
In other words, the bottom 50 percent pay 3 percent. Which small percentile of tax payers also paid 3 percent or more? It is the top 0.001%, or about 1,400 taxpayers. That group alone paid 3.25% of all income taxes.
I am skeptical this is true. But even if it is, the top 1% control more wealth than the bottom 90%, so this is probably fair. Sounds like the fair solution to this disparity is to massively shift wealth from the top 1% to everyone else through increased wages, so the rest of us can share more of the tax burden.

Can't wait for Trump's 2nd term so we can break out the water cannons here in the good old U.S. of A.
Best content this thread had in a long time... Tony Bags and Sanlmar disagreeing on monetary vs. fiscal policy and QE (Quantitative easing)
Side note I never realized Sanlmar was a limousine liberal, interesting. That explains his staunch support for everything Sonatine posts, no matter how pathetic each post of his is (and getting worse lately sonatine)

I won't bother sourcing the info as it's readily available with even the smallest of efforts.
Yes I'm certain your idea would work swimmingly, maybe we make the federal minimum wage $30/hour. Highly unlikely that would cause businesses to go under or affect inflation negatively. More govt is certainly the answer.
If the people have their heads on right then more gov't would be the answer but that is not the case
in the U.S. of A. You are the government and the government is you so get it together
You talk as if the government is some foreign entity.....oh, well....ya sorry
You do what's best for the whole. You don't ask or tell someone to serve and then ignore their needs when
they are unable to pull as much weight as before
That's just a one example out of many.
What a disgrace the VA is. It applies to many other areas. Personal greed is
going to be your ultimate downfall.
HEY TONY, WHAT BUSINESS ARE YOU IN? HOW DOES YOUR TRADE BENEFIT THE MAJORITY?
I'M GUESSING YOU ARE IN A SELF ABSORBED OCCUPATION WHICH BENEFITS FEW, MEANING YOU AND YOUR ASSOCIATES AND NOT THE GENERAL CLIENTELE
