Trumps economy had a great day Wednesday

The Trump tax cut is the dumbest thing to come down the pike. Mind you the whole stimulus & bailout was pretty fucked up too.

There is a school of thought that the government can print and spend all it wants. Sure, too much money floating around is inflationary - so you tax the public and remove some cash from the economy.

Taxes don’t allow you to pay for fighter jets. We were gonna print some money and buy it anyway. Taxes just cool out the potential inflation.

It’s an interesting way to look at taxes.

So Obama and the Fed have flooded us with free dollars. We always wondered how in the fuck we would unwind from that without a nasty shock. Idiot Trump & Co. didn’t help unwind - he did the exact opposite.

The stupidity out there is beyond belief.

and yet neither quantitative easing nor the tax cut has resulted in problematic inflation.

Yes I'm certain your idea would work swimmingly, maybe we make the federal minimum wage $30/hour. Highly unlikely that would cause businesses to go under or affect inflation negatively. More govt is certainly the answer.
