This guy ain't all up in my feelings amigo but he's clearly all up in yours. You'd be fine seeing him dead because you disagree with him politically?? Do you really mean that or are you being hyperbolic?
This is a huge difference between the left and the right. You lot want your justices legislating from the bench with a utility belt full of preconceived notions and fully formed leftist ideological positions, I want them to carefully consider each matter brought before them on it's own merits. The constitution and precedent matter, not the personal politics of the justices, at least that's the way I think it should be, you clearly do not.
You keep coming back to the "litany of Republican senators who said they'd block any Hillary nominee". It was actually three, Ted Cruz, John McCain and Richard Burr of NC. Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell both publicly said bollocks to that idea and McCain walked his comment back.
I don't believe for a second the senate would have kept the 9th SCOTUS seat open for 2-4 years, and frankly I don't think you do either. Yet you continue to use that as cover for your hardline, super aggro, intolerant position on this guy.
Bullshit!!! The entire ediface of corporate rights, i.e. “Corporations are people, too, my friends”, is built on right-wing judicial activism in 1886 regarding a bastardized misreading of the 14th Amendment in a court case involving a railroad company. And it has culminated in the horrific anti-democratic Citizens United ruling, which allows faceless legions of virtually anonymous mega-wealthy donations through SuperPAC contributions to flood and corrupt our elections at all levels of our government.
You heard the man, answer her.

Can a couple people please red rep mumbles for me. I accidentally gave him a green.
Thanks.
That's the ultimate Clinton conspiracy theory. You idiots are way too smart to understand that the Clinton's did a reverse-reverse on you guys. Lose the Presidency and win the House/Senate...duh. Plus, we're going to take down your idiot drunk super beer loving Supreme court appointee.
You idiots were too dumb to just nominate someone that had a semi-normal view about law/life. Don't ever think you're too good. You're not...that was his problem.
Sam Snead has a point you should listen to him.

Apparently he is no longer a gang rapist. However, he did throw ice on someone once.
So...yeah.
lol, yep.
Can somebody tell CNN to stop going hard on the story that Kavanaugh once threw some ice during a bar fight when he was practically still a kid.
Like I fully support their campaign to prevent the religious freak from gaining scary power. But c'mon, this line of attack has to be counterproductive in the fight to keep him out.
Also, I'm flabbergasted that there are people on here who are actively rooting for this cunt to rule over them.
What he stands for is outdated garbage and you should be ashamed.
Muslims with whiter teeth is what you are.

I'm not rooting for him to get confirmed. The last thing we need is for abortion to be illegal.
I mean, just look at the demographics of who is getting the most abortions.

Kavanaugh caught lying to Senate regarding foreknowledge of Ramirez accusation. He and staffers texted Yale classmates for support on the matter BEFORE the story broke in the New Yorker.
Text messages between Brett Kavanaugh and his classmates seem to contradict his Senate testimony

As an attorney who believes in a liberal interpretation of the Constitution, I am no fan of Kavanaugh, but stuff that happened in college (unless a serious crime was committed) is not relevant to his nomination. It is the president’s prerogative to appoint someone, if he or she is qualified (which he is), that should be the end of the inquiry. On the other hand, this should only be Trump’s first nomination. Let’s not forget McConnell wouldn’t even hold hearings on Obama’s choice (Garland - a solid nomination) for almost 300 days.
