I don't think either Kasich or Ryan would accept. So much of the party establishment hates Trump and will do nothing for him. Others fear being associated with Trump for purely selfish career-motivated reasons.

People who aren't already regular voters are usually brought to the booth by optimism, freshness and likeability. That ship has sailed for both Trump and Hillary.I think he is going to gain enough new / independent / disenfranchised voters who can't stand Hillary....and find a way to cross the finish line

I do not believe there is a single democrat voter alive that would actually vote for Trump against Hillary because Trump dragged the likes of Kasich into his crusade for mediocrity. Literally not a single one.

I think Trump needs a heavy hitting policy guy, not a Governor or something like that. He needs to find his Cheney, his Biden. Can't think of another old white guy that would be better suited than Newt GetRich.
