Daly, why are you so butt hurt he doesn't get his due from the left?
Did I miss the post of you giving Obama props for killing Osama?
Or better, yet one of us sniveling because you didn't?..........It is 'smart' to admit you are a liar?
and to then just update the lie? Why not come clean, now?
So now the story is he found out about it 10 days ago? So he wasn't lying on Air Force one, I guess? LOL, oh ok and somehow Fox has made that spun that? even though it has been in the news for 2 months?

"He didn't know the details of this until we knew the details of it, which is a couple weeks, maybe not even a couple weeks, 10 days ago," Giuliani said on Fox News.

Call Stormy what you want, but Trump is now an admitted liar, due her lawyer running circles around these clowns Trump surrounds himself with.
Bunch of GOP hypocrites, if Hillary won, and opened a hotel ALONE, there'd be impeachment hearings.
I guess the taxes (except the 2005 ones HE leaked to Maddow) are all still under audit, huh?

Jimmy,
I don't think Daly is arguing Trump is a good person. He is just saying a lot of people don't really care if he is a good person, so the media keep focusing on his personal misgivings isn't accomplishing anything at this point. And whether or not he is a good person, he is probably doing a better job as a President than the MSM is giving him credit for. I have made this argument before, but at some point I think it would just be best for the media and Democratic Party to accept he is going to be president the next couple years, and not spend so much effort trying to railroad his presidency.
I had a black talk at work today. I think the only person who can trump Trump is Oprah. I asked my black coworker if black men would vote for Oprah and she said no. So unless every woman in the country would vote, Oprah wont win. You can best best every appalachia hillbilly trash will crawl out for that fuckface. America is doomed.
You don't think Oprah has any dirty business dealings in her past? You don't think the Koch brothers or some other powerful Republican donor with deep pockets aren't willing to pay millions to dig through the dirt to find it?
The precedence has been set. I think anyone that has a lot of business dealings in their past is gonna be investigated and have a lot of shit dug up, and most people aren't gonna want to be willing to go through that. I doubt Oprah would.
Words, words, words, no fucks given. The guy is an unlikeable asshole. It's more or less a self evident fact at this point. Obama was a great guy. If I could shoot a round with either guy, give me Obama any day of the week. Probably take Carter over Regan, certainly over either one of the Bush Presidents.
Thing is we aren't scoring who I'd like to have a beer with here. If the economy tanks, the china trade war gets ugly, the Korea peace agreement breaks down...... its time to call a spade a spade and say what a shitty job he's done. Hasn't really happened yet though.
I don't care how many whores he grabs by the pussy. I don't care if we see his tax returns or not. I don't care if Russia used Facebook for Psyops vs the general public to try and sway the election (factoring in the DNC and our involvement in worldwide elections). I'd rather see criticism about him pulling out of the Paris accords while promising a new/different deal and so far nothing. I want to talk about why private prisons are making a comeback and why he isn't behind the legalization of weed. Where the fuck is the infrastructure bill? Sure Obamacare was defunded, sort of.... where is the fix?
I want substance to the criticism. Not a Monica Lewinsky style circus that isnt going nowhere with a GOP house.
i'm obv not a trump fan but the economy is relatively good and the north korea situation is more promising than i can ever remember. that last point is the one thing where trump's erratic tweeting probably helps him; i.e., "this fucking guy might just be crazy enough to nuke us."
Funny, I was actually thinking this the other day.
Sometimes the scariest thing to an aggressive crazy person is another aggressive crazy person.
I was wondering if perhaps the progress in North Korea is partially due to the possible realization by Kim Jong Un that his usual chest-puffing bluster was just going to make things worse with Trump, so he may have been shaken to try something different.
The Stormy Daniels thing is stupid, and the left is falling into the same trap as the right did with Monica Lewinsky. They're obsessing over a President's personal morality (which with Trump we already knew was crappy anyway), and harping on some legal technicality which, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't matter much to the average American. Much like most people didn't care that Clinton "committed perjury" regarding his sex life, most people aren't worried that Trump technically committed a campaign finance violation to pay off a porn star he banged in 2006.
I scratch my head wondering why the left is obsessing over this, when there is so much legitimate stuff to harp on if they really want to go after Trump.
The “left” *has* gone after Trump for his “legitimate stuff”, including his money laundering for the Russians, and using his presidency to help his children’s business dealings. There are several podcasts that cover these matters, and reportimg on it in several major newspapers. But they aren’t good repeated-news cycle stories, which Stormy Daniels’ lawyer has brilliantly exploited.
Now that things are calming down on the Korean Peninsula...
Looks like the White House is focusing on the real threat over there China. They really do need to stop trying to militarize the South China Sea because this is clearly strategic to war, militarily and trade wise. They have one goal in militarizing that area, its to control it in case of a possible war with the United States. I wouldn't be surprised if at a certain point left with no choice we dont just bomb them man made islands. Problem might be a tidal wave as a result, but that'll be the least of Chinas problems if they don't cut it out there.
Obama played a whole lotta pattie cake with this part of the world so I'm glad to see someone start taking a legitimate we will punch in the mouth approach for once over there, politically.

In the big scheme of the past two weeks, this is largely irrelevant. Like getting a speeding ticket on the way home from the casino after winning $100k on blackjack.
Clearly I hate the motherfucker, and motherfuckers of his sort, but this was totally foreseeable when he fired the first few shots over the bows with China.
Personally, I find it hard to believe we’ll end up better off as a country with a corrupt mentally ill person in charge, and his successes the past few weeks are far from set in stone, whereas some soybean farmer right now is eating Ramen noodles already.
Still, I’ve seen people make it work for their whole lives being crazy and ill-tempered. People don’t want to fuck with crazy ill-tempered people in a bar, let alone with a nuclear arsenal.
I think this Trump experiment will all end horribly, but I’m totally in wait and see mode at the moment. I’m guessing he’s getting shined on with flattery and compliments and getting outplayed by other world leaders and we’ll end up paying a large bill later and history will prove to be unkind, but I don’t know that.
A lot of Trump talking points resonated because there is a kernel of truth, or because there’s a real problem. It’s his ability to do anything about it that was always the sticking point. It seemed, and still seems impossible that someone with his intellectual laziness could tackle big problems and find solutions advantageous to America, but fuck if I know if he’s delegating this shit to generals or advisors that are way smarter than him and maybe it works. He seems to be all old man yelling at clouds and surrounded by idiots. I’d bet against it working out, but it’s a bet I’d hope to lose. If he ends up as some mentally ill savant scaring the fuck out of everyone into acquiescence, then so be it.
I’m a results person even if I hate everything about you. He hasn’t really gotten results yet on the national security front, but there is some encouraging signs, and the economy is cranking. How much of that is because of shit he has done and how much is simply good timing on his part is above my pay grade, but the market loves him and gets rattled when he looks in trouble. The market has been short-sighted before and loved shit that ultimately proved bad for the country, but for the first time since he’s won, I’m willing to concede this fool might fall ass backwards into something that works. I’m going to have to see it to believe it, but I’m not worrying about the soybean farmer right now. If he truly fucks up, the soybean farmer is going to be the last of our worries as everyone will end up in bread lines, and that farmer will already know the best place for day old bread.

LULZ at thinking soy bean farms are stilled owned by a dude wearing a straw hat waking up at dawn to jump on his trusty tractor.
They are mega-corporations.
