trump's done this before where he sounds like a liberal during these meetings, only to get reined back in quickly by hannity, but we'll see

And where is the love? He's running to the center on this one and basically saying "I agree with the Moderate Democrats Gun Plan" and nobdy wants to rush in and take his hand and try get this one done.

You can still call him an asshole in the morning for all the other things the left disagrees with him on.

If he is serious and really sticks to it I will applaud him and urge the democrats to work with him on it. But he's said so many things only to reverse himself later or turn it into something completely different, that I'll believe it when I see it.

Kushner getting loans from China, Israel, Citi, etc. for his family's business is the real Achilles heel in all of this. These NY developers are ruthless, have no morals or ethics, and will fk over anybody to get their deals done. Taking that to the WH, and there is no way Kushner and Trump aren't lining things up to support their deals. ITS in their nature scorpion and frog style, and conflicts, they could care less. Isn't an issue for them. Lets hope Gen Kelly fills the WH with military people and keep these grifters in check and get some legislation, better judges, etc. in place here. God save the queen. i don't think this is right. the president can unilaterally issue tariffs against countries or industries under a ton of circumstances including vague ones like where he finds "an adverse impact on national security from imports". i remember looking at this when i complained the price of my avocados were about to go up.
