The indictments and all actions following are planned in accordance to how the reactions by our president further support charges of collusion and obstruction of justice. The tweets and the comments made by the President and the White House this week have all but guaranteed these charges will be coming. Also, early speculation is that Rod Rosenstein will in fact press forward with any charges levied by Bob Mueller.
What's most disturbing to Max Power is the lengths President Trump is willing to go not to punish the Russians or speak out against them. As poker players would say, he has shown his hand.

Why do you think President Trump is so resistant to the whole Russia collusion narrative? Do you think he overtly colluded with Russia and is actually covering something up, or that he doesn't want to acknowledge that he is the unwitting beneficiary of Russia collusion (which would obviously indicate Russia believed he would be a weak President they could take advantage of to their benefit)?

Not reasonable as in "good for the country," but reasonable in that it would be reasonable to expect a crime family patriarch to act in such a fashion. In some fictitious reality where this was possible if the FBI/Pence/whomever offered him and his family complete amnesty if he would step down from the presidency today, do you think he would do it?

i think the most likely reason is option b. he's so damn insecure that he is concerned people would believe he's an illegitimate president and that he's embarrassed that russia would prefer him over hillary.
but we can't ignore the fact that his refusal to go after putin publicly makes it more likely that putin actually has dirt on him. it's literally the only other explanation for trump's refusal to go after putin over this.
also if i'm not mistaken, trump has still refused to fully implement the sanctions against russia he was forced to sign
