How do you suppose private information about what a sitting President does in the private parts of the white house would get out to the public? You picture his employees are double agents or what? You picture the secret service being cool with that?

I think he was just citing what he thought to be the most unbelievable part of the excerpt in response to people thinking it might be real.

i 100% googled "gorilla channel" to see if this was reported anywhere. and lol, i wouldn't say i believed the part about him thinking the gorillas can hear him, but i absolutely thought there was a chance this story made it into the book

i also showed my wife this story, explaining that it is an excerpt from the new book and she was horrified. true story
also not sure what you're talking about with the secret service. this is literally a tell-all book from people inside the white house. the author supposedly has these interviews on tape. bannon, for his part, didn't deny saying any of it.
to be honest, in some small way, i would be comforted by the fact that he spends most of his day watching the gorilla channel.
