Maybe it is more of a California thing, and not a big issue anywhere else, but here at least it appears a lot of the social justice groups "ally" with the Pro-Palestinian ones and are going hard after Jews. There have been a lot of articles relating to this phenomenon I see floating around. Probably a quick google search will get you up to speed if you are interested.

That being said none of the great Monotheistic religions (or any other religion that I know of) seem to have a problem with what you define as "child abuse," which is basically sexual relations between a considerably older adult man and a post-menopausal teenage girl. Given that, I hope you can appreciate why their position would not seem hypocritical to them.

10 more seconds of google searching indicates the whole anti-semitism thing does appear to be a bigger issue in California colleges than elsewhere, as you can see California public universities are very represented at the top of this list. I am guessing this is just because there are a higher % of Muslim students in public California colleges than other places.
