this is very hard to believe...the underlying concept of the income tax is that generally all income is taxable (unless specifically exempted) and all reasonable expense incurred in the production of that income is deductible...in addition, a limited set of personal expenses, those not incurred for the production of income, are deductible (itemized deductions) or the standard deduction, whichever is greater...that's the basic rule, and then there are 10 feet of code and regulation books to define/apply the basic rule to specific circumstance.
the idea that business expenses are not deductible is nuts and i haven't seen anything like this in the news so far...additionally, why is only small business losing business deductions? shouldn't elimination of business deductions also apply to corporations?
what is plausible and where i think the blogger/author goes awry is the bills propose to eliminate miscellaneous itemized personal deductions, which include unreimbursed employee business expenses. (deductions listed on the bottom section of Schedule A in an individual return)--the items listed by the blogger are typically found in that section as deductions by employees, not employers....that area is among the more abused area by taxpayers and more easily detected, reviewed, and enforced by the IRS...eliminating schedule A miscellaneous deductions is far different than eliminating business expenses reported on schedule C (business owners), schedule E (operators of real estate rentals), schedule F (farming operators)
what i have heard is that there is a proposal that small business owners have their tax on income from a small business capped at a rate of 25%...not sure if that proposal is in either the House or Senate proposals

"In like Flynn" is a slang phrase meaning "having quickly or easily achieved a goal or gained access as desired". In addition to its general use, the phrase is sometimes used to describe success in sexual seduction, and its folk etymology often asserts the phrase has sexual origins.

Tax bill preserves and even expands loopholes for real estate developers. It's the Donald Trump Enrichment at Everyone Else's Expense Act.

Anti Trump folks are going to be really disappointed to learn that getting dirt, or attempting to get dirt on Hillary Clinton from Russians, is not a crime. Since Flynn was fired by the White House for lying, and plead guilty for lying, good luck making him a credible witness.
