literally a nursing home full of people who voted for trump waiting to be evacuated.

That is fucked up, jfc. Nobody around to get those people the fuck outta there? What a god dam disgrace.
in fairness he had his hands full this week finally banning trannies from the military and pardoning a sheriff who refers to his prisons as concentration camps and does not consider the bill of rights relevant.
so youll have to excuse him if hes been unable to find someone to head FEMA in the last 10 months.

Sad when people realize in the coming days that most of these houses will be total write offs and will need to completely rebuild. They also probably won;t be even allowed to rebuild until they have a proper permit...
There is a head of FEMA.
His name is Brock Long, appointed in June.
Even Vox can't find much bad to say about him: https://www.vox.com/2017/8/27/162087...isaster-relief
State and local governments are also much more to blame when the government flubs its handling of a hurricane. Michael Brown was incompetent, and Bush was a fool to say he was doing "a heckuva job", but the real blame for Katrina lay at the feet of corrupt Mayor Ray Nagin, and also various (Democrat) state officials.
Bush was trying to be too polite, tried to avoid bashing anyone and instead praised an idiot who was handling things poorly, and thus the bungling of Katrina is Bush's legacy now, albeit mostly unfairly.
I am so fucking sick of people unwilling to accept blame for any mishap. It's way too common nowadays, I see it daily and It's disgusting. Have some fucking accountability for Christ sake and stop making excuses all the time. Making these disasters political and casting blame here and there is shameful.
Here's how shit works in the world of real men.... When you're in charge and shit goes south, YOU ARE FUCKING RESPONSIBLE!!! END OF STORY SNOWFLAKES!!!
thats either sonatine or kurt warners wife in the pink scarf
Sorry I meant that's either chaps or Kurt Warner's wife in the scarf
Didn't really keep up with this story since I was swimming in the Mediterranean and enjoying the topless beach bunnies in the southern coast of Portugal, but lol texas in general.
Fake News!!!
Shame on Sonatine for trying to pass off a picture of LOLWOW at one of his pool parties to support his communist agenda.
We've already addressed who's in the picture we're now discussing how grossed out the locals are when krypt shuffles into the water
Yeah, but pointy-head academics were the ones predicting that the levees would fail, not a true authority on such matters that born-again Christian George W. Bush put a lot of trust in.

What are you directing this at? Trump?
It's not political to state that poor handling of hurricane readiness and evacuations are primarily the fault of local and state governments. In fact, it's more likely Republicans in Texas are the ones at fault for this. (I haven't looked into the state/local officials in this case, but I assume they are more likely to be Republican.)
It just always irritates me where people blame the President or the federal government for local/state failures.
