By all accounts Saddam Hussein was a horrible human being, but he was no where near a religious Islamist. Saddam hated islam so much he fought a war to prevent it from dominating his country. Saddam was more of a pagan, think of the Babylonian pantheon, he said he was Nebuchadnezzar reincarnated. So no not all Americans think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11, as i remember, back in my libtard days, every democrat, literally every democrat i talked to said Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

Im not going to argue either for or against that initiative, I'm only going to point out that the SHTF in Iraq once Obama refused to back the democratically elected leader chosen by the Iraqi people, because he wasnt our Joe. That was when everything fell apart in earnest. That was when the Republican Guard recognized the potential for exploiting a disenfranchised, exploited Sunni majority and Islamic State was born.

Yep ISIS was always an inevitability without a stable government. And you could argue that the only stable government which did work, Was Saddam's government.

It's crazy how ISIS got their shit together and started up tho. Basically from jail with al-Baghdadi and his crew. A whole new ideology was born.
