And on the employment front they are hiring a bunch of people at poverty wages with no insurance and taking out of business companies, especially small family operations, that pay decent wages with insurance. That is how these things work. The bigger companies get the worse it gets for everyone but a very select few who profit immensely at the expense of everyone else, even if you think it is benefitting you in the short term saving a couple bucks buying your kids Christmas presents.
I can't take the moral high ground, because I buy shit at Walmart and Amazon too, but there is a pretty big track record that companies getting too big is very bad for most of us, which is why we have laws protecting against monopolies in the first place, and if you think this case is going to be any different you are very naive.

Actually, it’s not how much debt China already has, but how much our government would likely need China to buy going *forward* to keep Treasury security rates reasonable that matters.
