I'm surprised Trump bragged about the Roe v Wade thing.
This was never a big issue to him. He's not religious, and doesn't give a shit about abortion. Despite all of the bullshit rhetoric about him spewed out by the media, the reality is that Trump is basically secular, so he doesn't care about gays or abortion. And by "doesn't care", I mean that he's not interested in changing any laws or rights regarding those subjects, as we saw during his first term.

Trump should not focus upon those things. He's basically got a lock on the primary. Now he has to win back independents, some of which he's already done by default because Biden has been so awful. Abortion restrictions are a losing issue for the GOP, and they need to downplay it. Trump needs to continue along the lines of being a different kind of Republican who isn't a slave to the Christian coalition, but at the same time is completely anti-woke and is going to roll back a lot of the recent societal changes in that direction. That's a winning message, as most independents hate the woke shit as well, but they aren't on board with the Christian agenda.

Trump was pro-choice until he ran for president and needed to win the Christian vote. Saying the Roe vs Wade reversal happened after he was out of office while true is a nonsensical argument. Trump was responsible for changing the make-up of the Supreme Court which is the only reason Roe was overturned. There is no escape from that for him.
