Trump's impeachment came after a formal House inquiry found that he had solicited foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election to help his re-election bid and then obstructed the inquiry itself by telling his administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony. The inquiry reported that Trump withheld military aid and an invitation to the White House to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in order to influence Ukraine to announce an investigation into Trump's political opponent Joe Biden and to promote a discredited conspiracy theory that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Well my friend, I think that's just the thing; with the benefit of hindsight it does not appear Trump was soliciting foreign interference, he seems to have been trying to root out American corruption at the highest levels.

Doesn't it seem fairly obvious to you at this time that Mr. Biden was acting in his own interests by withholding aid (just as Trump was accused of doing) in order to influence Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma and his son who sat on the board? I'd just like to know the truth. It seems Trump's actions were entirely appropriate considering what we know.

Everyone should already know the 2nd impeachment was an illegal sham and now the 1st one looks as if it was more of the same. Maybe you could elaborate more with some of your own words/point of view rather than the copy/paste response? Perhaps I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the 1st time.
