Carter Page seemed to us to be a typical
person who the Russians would attempt to co-opt or
compromise or manipulate. He was on the younger
side, a little bit -- considered to be a striver
who was ambitious and not terribly savvy, and those
are the kind of people that the Russians tend to
compromise. That was the general sense we had. He
was also, you know, from early on described as
somewhat eccentric.
Well, the definition of compromised is
someone who has been influenced sometimes without
even their knowledge. We had reason to believe
that he had, in fact, been offered business deals
that were -- that would tend to influence him,
business arrangements.
that 'soft compromise' theme is going to become very familiar as we follow the money into trump's sphere of influence.

That makes no sense. The electoral college is why I didn't vote for Hillary. My state's electoral votes were not in play. It made literally no difference who I would vote for.
I actually didn't vote for president at all. Left it blank and voted for the other offices. Not relevant to the discussion.
HILLARY WON
just to be certain here. you believed him because he is a world class sleazeball who wants to laugh at anybody who said he was a pos . i have no idea what the hell your history books reference means.
it makes zero sense to equate a wc sleazeball with a believable person. how does wc sleazeball-ness equal good prez?
I lived in nyc when trump was running around and partying all night. His goal was to be admired and respected by his really old money peers, those at the top of the arts scene, the tv and film peeps and the editors of east coast centric magazines and newspapers. he really sucked up, paid for parties, weaseled invites. still he was mocked, degraded and typically portrayed as a leather/latex submissive with masters of both sexes. to this day old money thinks hes a gauche boor, artists know he has no creativity, the tv, film and print media make fun of him endlessly.
so your thought about alignment of goals is based on what trump was able to con so many about. its what trump likes to think his life has been. his method of making money is everything but earning it. hes a grifter with the roll to con peeps. when anything showed signs of losing money he blamed others and sued willy nilly. i remember playing a mixed game with u at palms (u were facing the back wall and next to a lady) and u weren't a dick then.
why aren't the mexicans paying for the wall?
“I believe the simplest explanation is, there is no God. No one created the universe and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization that there probably is no heaven and no afterlife either. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe and for that, I am extremely grateful.”

Libtard C.O.G. plan, propagate the Russian collusion narrative all while negating the Clinton connection to the Russians, if that fails, propagate a mental illness narrative to activate the 25th amendment......................only thing is........they can literally see them in real time

Trump is suing BuzzFeed and Fusion GPS for defamation over the Russia dossier.
Which is totally normal behavior for a sitting president who accused his predecessor of being a Kenyan muslim.
In any case, the discovery motions from the accused are going to be fucking incredible.

Interesting dirt in that testimony on some of William Browder's activities in Russia that surely helped him make so much money as a Westerner in the years when his hedge fund was investing there. Here's an example:
It sort of casts his story of being the plucky outside investor who make legit returns on his investment bets over there as instead one where he likely also participated in fleecing the greater Russian public and managed to get his money out of the country before Putin and his oligarch buddies decided to try to steal it away from him.

Anyone with half a brain has figured out that flattering Trump is the easiest way to get him to agree to almost anything that doesn't personally cost him anything. And South Korean is soon facing renegotiation on its bilateral trade agreement with the US. Just watch Trump roll over and give them almost all that they want if they keep buttering Trump up on this matter.
P.S. Early celebration of concluding trade talks with Trump...

Trump bringing up Hillary in this press conference is annoying. Him standing at the podium with his arms crossed was funny though.
Also does anyone know when and why Americans collectively started calling these things "pressers"? Its not like I pay perfect attention but it doesn't seem like it was gradual at all. That used to be Euro only shit. I associate that slang with like Becks and the Spice girls and footballer hooligans, not the NBA, NFL, or anything else American.
