1. Only about 100 current living americans have an IQ of 170 of above... CIA are not some superhumans like you think. Plenty of average graduate students go into the field and are successful. CIA really cares more about you having a squeaky clean past to avoid blackmail.
2. IQ is a poor predictor of leadership which is better correlated with personality traits. Typically if you have an IQ of 120 you are pretty much capable of doing any leadership job...
3. A person with an IQ of 80 can probably train a dog just as well as someone with an IQ of 170. Really all you need to be capable of is reading Konrad Lorenz.

It's unfortunate that Trump is in charge not because of Syria but because he is an incompetent ignorant corrupt narcissistic mentally unstable meth-addicted criminal.
The Russians didn't fix the election, but they colluded with Trump to influence the election, in violation of federal law, one of several impeachable offences Trump has committed.
